We use only positive training equipment and methods, using treats, toys and praise as rewards. Your dog will learn good manners while you learn how to continue the training once we have gone. If there is a behavior problem, we will devise a personalized protocol to help improve the situation or solve the problem Trainer Karen Booher, a CPDT (certified pet dog trainer) and member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, has also worked as a public school teacher for twenty years. She received her dog trainer education at Pat Miller’s Peaceable Paws Training Academy in Hagerstown, MD, North State Training Academy in Sanford, NC and through the Animal Behavior College in Northridge, CA, as well as through many workshops, seminars and conferences. She is also a certified CGC (Canine Good Citizen) evaluator for the AKC. Karen has worked as a trainer for PetSmart, as a trainer mentor for dog training graduates of the Animal Behavior College, and as a volunteer trainer at the Greater Miami Humane Society.
